Victoria Terminal – Pride of Mumbai

Well Victoria Terminal, now renamed as Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal a UNESCO world heritage site stands tall since 1887.

This Victorian era structure is one of the most visited site in India.

It’s an amazing experience to view the façade of this magnanimous railway station and what relishes more is awesome foodie delight just across it.

The interior is La’European styled ceilings and walls. The station building is designed in the High Victorian Gothic style of architecture. A sort of fusion with Neo-Classical Indian architecture.

One should definitely visit this Grandeur creation to admire the art and architecture of the 19th Century.
