Taj Mahal – No wonder its a Wonder

I belong to Agra, the city of Taj Mahal (first Wonder of World). Well it truly deserves the title believe me it is as magnanimous and awestruck structure as it looks in each and every picture available over the Internet. There might be hundreds of books, articles written about the Taj, but the best experience is to visit it person. 

What truly amaze that in 16th Century, when there was no electricity, no machinery no CAD designing tool the symmetry, the perfection and art which this monument of love demonstrate is second to none. It is a living proof that when we have the passion we can create a masterpiece.

It also signifies the exemplary team work, the methodology the vision of architect and the skill set of each and every artisan. But more important its purpose and that was – LOVE

My entire childhood was based in Agra, while the city is not very different from any north Indian city but the moment you enter the Taj Zone premises you ought to feel you are in a parallel universe and there is nothing is between the beauty of the Taj Mahal and your spell bound eyes.

My appeal to all visitors and Government is to keep the premises clean and keep nurturing this prestigious monument so that coming generations can revisit the exquisite man made wonder and feel proud for the rich heritage it gives.

PS – The best time to visit TAJ I can recommend is in Nov – Feb when the weather is cold and pink.
